The Double D now operates a 31′ Tiara 3100 Open, a proven Great Lakes fishing platform designed for performance, stability, and serious fishing. The open design provides plenty of room to move around the deck while fishing and allows anglers to comfortably fish from multiple positions on the boat.
Powered by twin Crusader 7.4L gas engines, the Double D delivers reliable performance and a smooth ride on Lake Ontario. The Tiara 3100 Open measures 31 feet with an overall length of 33’10” including the pulpit, features a 12-foot beam, and has a dry weight of approximately 12,300 lbs.
This modified-V hull design provides excellent stability and performance in Great Lakes conditions. The boat comfortably cruises between 24–28 mph and can reach a top speed of over 35 mph, allowing Captain Dan to quickly reach productive fishing areas.

I am a native Texan and a student at RIT College. My uncle booked me and my friend a fishing charter with Captain Dan. I didn’t know what to expect since I never did anything like this before. We left the dock and headed out into Lake Ontario to set our lines. Then the action began and we were pulling huge fish one after another. I am not sure what I am going to do with the 50lbs+ of fish in my dorm room but was a great time that I will never forget. Thanks, Captain Dan for the experience. It was truly memorable!
